My name is Paola Moore, I am a freelance celebrant working in the UK and Italy. My work in the UK is mainly around Bristol and the South West.
I also live part of the year in Italy near the border of Umbria and Tuscany. I am available to do weddings there or elsewhere in Italy. I know that British couples are increasingly choosing beautiful venues in the Italian Lakes, Venice and the Tuscan hills where a non-religious celebration could be an option. I have conducted several bi-lingual ceremonies in Italian, Spanish and French so that both sides of the newly-joined families can feel included and valued.
Over the years I have been very fortunate to play a part in some wonderful ceremonies. I feel that every event should be special; a fun-filled day shared with those who are important to you, a day when you create the best of memories. I would love to help you create this unique and special moment.
I speak fluent Italian, and conversational French and Spanish, and I have helped couples of many different nationalities create a ceremony that includes elements of their cultures and that embraces the whole family.
I have done a couple of the weddings in the BBC’s “Don’t Tell the Bride.” One of my weddings also featured in the Channel 4 documentary “Love Life and Death in a Day.”
Please Note: I act as a celebrant, not a registrar. Therefore, for your marriage to be recognised in law you must complete the legal formalities at a register office prior to the ceremony. (This could be done either earlier the same day or some time before. As a former registrar, I can advise on the legalities.)
